 
This unique 12th century castle has recently been restored and now offers you exclusive accommodation in our 9 award winning suites. Our 50 acre estate is situated in a stunning location overlooking the forested valley of the River Awbeg in the heart of the Blackwater Valley. All amenities of the Castle from strolling along the banks of the river within the grounds, relaxing in our walled kitchen garden, to fishing in our private river are open to our guests. You can also lose yourself in the Castle Maze! You are also welcome to relax in our Tea Room, Library, or Bar within the Castle itself. We also offer spacious self catering apartments in the recently renovated Castle Courtyard. Blackwater Castle is located in the picturesque award winning village of Castletownroche on the N72 (eight miles from Mallow Town).
