Events and Exhibitions

Blackwater Castle hosts the annual Castletownroche Arts Festival (12th - 15th June 2008), the Beast of Ballyhoura Adventure Race (August Bank Holiday weekend 2008), and has also hosted a number of Art Exhibitions and welcomes further enquiries from artists regarding hosting exhibitions here in our Art Gallery or The Old Coach House. Blackwater Castle is owned by The Nordstrom Family Trust for Art and Culture and accordingly supports artists (preferential rates are available.) Blackwater Castle is an ideal multi-purpose venue for a wide variety of events and exhibitions including concerts and plays and we will be happy to discuss your particular requirements with you.
